BENJAMIN PEARCE CHASE

[email protected]

As an emerging sculptor, Benjamin Pearce Chase distills sixty-five years of life experience into fulgent works of art using glass mosaic as a preferred medium. A formally trained gemologist and jeweller, he tries to capture the scintillation of faceted stones and light on water in the construction of monumental sculpture. These artworks, made to emulate natural elements and environments, create points of wonder within the landscape that draw the viewer in and encourage exploration. Ben creates celebrations of light, in visually kinetic stationary works that stand out yet belong.
