DEVIN FIKIS
Devin Fikis is a multimedia artist who works with oil paints, oil pastels, photography, and sculptural explorations of ceramics and found objects. She experiments with new materials and approaches to engage her continuously evolving and inspired practice. Her work follows themes of healing, movement, destruction, decay, and balance. Influenced by the natural world, Fikis frequently examines the relationship between humans and animals, often using animals as symbols to explore her own connection to body and mind. The wolf is a recurring motif in her work, appearing as an unexpected lone guest or representing a complex internal conflict.
