TAYA FINDLAY
Taya Findlay is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice draws influence from the landscapes of the Alberni-Clayoquot region of the Pacific Northwest. Findlay’s work incorporates natural materials and visuals accumulated to honour the land that drives her practice. Findlay explores the delicate interplay between the passage of time, the environment, and the human experience referenced through the lens of memory and nostalgia. She transforms the mundane and familiar into personal acknowledgements of the profound, highlighting the sublime and intricate balance required for coexistence in naturalistic landscapes.
